Blairhampton Golf Club has a rich history dating back to the construction of the original 9 holes in 1961 which were designed by the architect Robert F. Moote and opened to the public in 1966. The original owners, Andrew Shuyler and his son, Dave, are the same family who built the nearby causeway to “Shuyler’s Island” in the early 1950s. The island was subdivided into lots and sold to provide the funding to build the golf course.

The current owners purchased the golf course from Dave Shuyler and his wife in 1987 and have made many improvements over the years. The clubhouse and driving range were built in 1989, followed by the addition of another 9 holes which were integrated into the current layout of the course by architect John F. Robinson. It took two years to clear the land and another year of construction before Blairhampton Golf Club was opened as full 18-hole course on July 1, 1999.

Presently, the owners are working to rejuvenate the course which started with a bunker reconstruction in the Spring of 2022.

Today, Blairhampton is a popular destination for golfers of all skill levels and is widely known as one of cottage country’s finest because of its beautiful vistas, diverse wildlife, and challenging design.

• Except where modified by local rules, Golf Canada rules govern all play
• Keep pace with the group ahead of you. Our pace of play is 4 hours and 15 minutes.
• Dress code will be enforced on the golf course: no blue jeans, muscle shirts, track pants or athletic shorts.
• Proper golf shoes or running shoes are required. No flip flops, sandals or metal spiked shoes.
• Keep carts at least 30 feet from the greens and tees.
• Players must be 10 years of age and older to play the golf course.
• All golfers must have their own set of clubs. 
• Walkers on the golf course must pay a green fee and a cart fee if riding, and must be at a minimum, 10 years of age or older. (These are safety requirements of our insurance company – NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Please be Considerate and Respectful of Our Staff, physical and/or verbal abuse will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the premises immediately. 
• All alcoholic beverages must be purchased at our restaurant, beverage cart, or BBQ in accordance with the Liquor License Act of Ontario.
• You must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license to rent and drive a golf cart.

• Replace divots on the fairways.
• Rake the sand traps after use.
• Repair your ball marks and one additional ball mark on every green.
• Keep power carts on paths when approaching all greens.

• No alcoholic beverages other than those provided by the Club are permitted anywhere on the premises. Blairhampton Golf Club strictly adheres to all provisions of the provincial/state liquor control and licensing regulations. Club staff reserve the right to examine the contents of golf bags and other items for personal alcohol. 
• No person shall consume alcoholic beverages to the point of impairment or intoxication. Any guest not adhering to these rules must leave the property immediately and future access to the Club may be denied.  
• The Club assumes no liability for any injury, wrongdoing, or problem caused by the breach of these rules. 
• As a condition of the use of the Club’s premises and, more particularly, the provision of alcoholic beverages by the Club, all persons hereby expressly waive any liability on the part of the Club arising out of the consumption of alcoholic beverages and agree to indemnify and save harmless the Club from any and all claims, damages or lawsuits referable to the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
